P. Q. Primeramente descríbase a sí mismo como persona y como árbitro. First describe himself as a person and as an arbitrator.
R. Para mí ser árbitro es lo mismo que ser persona, ya que los valores personales es lo que dignifica a un árbitro. For me be umpire is the same person to be, as personal values is what dignifies an arbitrator. Soy una persona sencilla y comunicativa. I am a simple person and communicative.

P. Q. 23 años arbitrando al máximo nivel dan para mucho, pero, ¿dónde y cuándo comenzó todo? 23 years devising at the highest level to give much, but where and when it all started?
R. Comenzó con mi pasión, que era jugar al baloncesto, desde muy joven a los 12 años. It started with my passion, which was play basketball, since very young at age 12. Un día jugando la final de Minibasket con los Salesianos cambiaron el resultado en el acta y después del partido vi a mi entrenador llorar ya partir de ese momento decidí arbitrar. R. Para mí un momento clave fue el pitar la Final del Eurobasket en Munich, donde tuve que arbitrar con salmonelosis, aunque la Final Olímpica siempre ha sido algo especial.
